Southwest Airlines nominates Lisa Atherton for election to its Board of Directors

– USA, TX –  Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) today announced the nomination of Lisa Atherton for her election to its Board of Directors at the AGM on May 15, 2024.

“Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience across aviation, defense, and government contracting, combined with her expertise in leading highly complex programs and strategic initiatives. I believe she will be a wonderful addition to our talented Board,” said CEO, Bob Jordan.

The company also announced that Ron Ricks and John Montford will not stand for reelection.
