Soltage announces Steven Scopellite to Board of Directors

– USA, NY – Leading North American solar power provider Soltage, LLC announced today that Wall Street technology veteran Steven M. Scopellite will join the firm’s board of directors.

Mr. Scopellite joins Soltage board members CEO Jesse Grossman, COO Vanessa Stewart, Tenaska Vice President and TreasurerDave Kirkwood and Tenaska Senior Vice President of Engineering and Construction Nick Borman.

Mr. Scopellite recently retired from Goldman Sachs after a distinguished career of nearly 30 years, having served as global chief information officer and head of the 8,000-person Global Technology Division. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Scopellite led the bank’s expansion into electronic trading and developed their global funding platform. His many achievements at Goldman Sachs are widely acclaimed, including most recently being named to the Institutional Investor 2013 Tech 50 list.

Mr. Scopellite joined Goldman Sachs in 1986 as a software engineer in the bank’s financing function. He moved to London in 1993 for three years, helping to lead an expansion into Europe and Asia. In 2007, he was named co-chief information officer and became global chief information officer in 2011.

Mr. Scopellite also serves as a director of Akamai, a leading provider of cloud services, and a director at Diversant, LLC, with a focus on improving workplace diversity and the creation of opportunities for veterans. He is a technology advisor to the board of Meridian Healthcare Systems, one of New Jersey’s leading not-for-profit health care organizations, a member of the National Board of Directors for Computers for Youth and has served as a special advisor to the National Society of Black Engineers.
