– SWITZERLAND, Stans –  SoftwareONE today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Dieter Schlosser as Chief Executive Officer effective as of 1 January 2019. Schlosser previously held the position of Global COO & Transformation Leader of SoftwareONE.

“During this time of transformation, there is no better person to lead SoftwareONE than Dieter Schlosser. In the next phase of growth and integration of COMPAREX, Dieter brings the right combination of talent, technical and strategic knowledge and leadership skills to take SoftwareONE to the next level,” said Daniel von Stockar, SoftwareONE’s Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors. “Dieter has been a proven leader with vision and leadership as SoftwareONE has transformed from being a pure global software reseller and license management company to a global Platform, Solutions and Services leader. With his closeness to our customers across the world, Dieter established a dynamic service portfolio designed for innovation and growth.”

Since joining the company in 2012, Schlosser grew his accountability from a single country to the APAC and LATAM region and most recently parts of EMEA, while being instrumental in building our agile and scalable shared-services backbone. During his tenure, Schlosser embraced customer-intimacy across industries and geographies to identify and build the right portfolio for a successful ongoing transformation of SoftwareONE to a global Platform, Solutions and Services leader.

A global transformation leader, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Operating Officer with a proven track record of achievements spanning 30 years throughout Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe and Africa, Schlosser has worked at some of the world’s most notable organizations, a leading German Automotive Company, a leading Swiss Market Expansion & Supply Chain company (FMCG, Pharma, Luxury Retail), and a leading Anglo-Australian Resource Company.

“Over the past six months, SoftwareONE has gone through a tremendous tragedy with the passing of Patrick Winter and our team has shown amazing perseverance in this difficult time. Not only did we persevere, our SWO-family, our culture and our value-proposition with customers is stronger than ever. Our passionate team of colleagues has continued to execute on our vision and we have continued to grow organically and through M&A, with the acquisition of COMPAREX,” Schlosser said. “The opportunity ahead for SoftwareONE is immense. With the combined strength of our reach and technology capabilities and our passionate customer focus, we will be able to deliver value adding outcomes for our customers.”
