Sirius International Insurance Group adds Rob Friedman and Sandy Frucher to its Board as Independent Directors

– BERMUDA, Hamilton – Sirius International Insurance Group, Ltd. announced today that it has added two independent directors to its Board of Directors.

Robert L. (Rob) Friedman is a private investor, and was previously Chief Investment Officer of Savannah-Baltimore Capital and the Franklin Templeton Mutual Series Funds. He has a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School and an A.L.M. from Harvard University. Mr. Friedman will serve on the Company’s Board, Finance Committee, and Audit and Risk Management Committee.

Meyer (Sandy) Frucher is Vice Chairman of Nasdaq, Inc., and was formerly Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. He received a B.A. from Columbia University, and a M.P.A. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Mr. Frucher will serve on the Company’s Board, Compensation Committee, Finance Committee, and Audit and Risk Management Committee.
