Shazam adds Rob Krolik to its Board as Independent Director

– UK, London / USA, NY – Shazam today announced that Rob Krolik, CFO of Yelp, the company that connects consumers with great local businesses, has joined the Shazam Board as an independent member and Chair of the Audit Committee. Mr. Krolik has more than 20 years of consumer market and public company experience, including several senior roles at eBay, shopping.com and other leading online properties.

During the last year Shazam has successfully expanded its service beyond music and television to include retail, cinema and radio advertising. Most recently, Shazam announced the launch of visual recognition that extends the company’s mobile engagement platform to create a world where everything from posters to packaged goods, print media and more are transformed from static images into dynamic pieces of content.
