– UK, Hook – Serco Group PLC (LON: SRP), the international service company, today announced the appointment of Dame Sue Owen DCB to its Board as a Non-Executive Director and a member of the Group Audit and Group Risk Committees effective from 3 August 2020.
“I am very pleased to welcome Sue to the Board of Serco. She has deep experience of government and government policy and significant economic experience and will be a very welcome addition to the Board,” said Non-Executive Chairman, Sir Roy Gardner.
Rachel Lomax, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has notified the Board of her intention to stand down as a Director on 30 August 2020.
Sir Roy Gardner commented: “I would like to thank Rachel personally for her support and, on behalf of the Board, for the extensive contribution she has made to the Company since joining in early 2014, a period during which Serco had many challenges and has seen considerable change. She brought considerable governance, economic and government skills at a critical stage for the Company and she will be much missed.”
