Sabien Technology appoints Bruce Gordon to the Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Watford – Sabien Technology is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Bruce Gordon as a non-executive Director. As set out in the announcement of 20 July 2015, it is the Company’s longer term intention to appointment Mr Bruce Gordon as Chairman. This will be reviewed over the coming months and an appropriate announcement made of any changes.

Bruce, 55, is the founder of Thames Valley Capital Limited, a venture capital and private equity firm that specialises in early stage, seed investments, growth capital and bridge loans. Until 2008, Bruce was a senior audit partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP and was a member of the Board of Partners and the partner in charge of the southern region. Prior to Deloitte, Bruce was a partner in Arthur Andersen, where he managed the UK regional practice. Until 2011 Bruce was Honorary Treasurer for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, one of the largest charities in the UK. He is also Chairman, and a founder, of the Honorary Treasurers Forum, a charity that promotes governance and education for Honorary Treasurers, and Honorary Treasurer of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Alan O’Brien, Chief Executive of Sabien said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Bruce to the Board as a director. Bruce has been an investor in Sabien since July 2009 and firmly believes in the Company’s new strategy of delivering free pilots to its pipeline of potential customers in order to scale up the number of pilot projects delivered and increase the predictability of contract award and start dates. Bruce has shown this commitment to the new strategy through his direct and indirect (through TVI 2 Limited) participation in the recent placing. I have no doubt that Bruce’s skills will be invaluable in rolling the strategy out and ensuring that the Company delivers on it.’
