– USA, MA – Rocket Software, a global technology leader that develops enterprise software used by the world’s largest public and private sector companies, today appoints Dr. Milan Shetti (Ph.D.) as next CEO, effective November 5, succeeding current CEO and co-founder Andy Youniss who will become Executive Chairman. Milan will retain his President title.
Andy will continue providing strategic insights and guidance to Rocket in important areas where he has experience and expertise.

About Dr. Milan Shetti
Milan Shetti joined Rocket in 2020 as Business Unit President and was named Rocket President earlier this year, overseeing all products in the company’s portfolio. Most recently, he held senior executive positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, including serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the multi-billion dollar storage business unit and previously as Chief Technology Officer of the Datacenter Infrastructure and Storage divisions.

Shetti began his career at Sun Microsystems as a software developer and advanced through a technical career path to technical director for the company’s data management group. After Sun Microsystems, Shetti led business development for IBRIX, Inc. before assuming the chief executive position.
He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in computer engineering from Syracuse University.
