Rathbone Brothers appoints Sarah Gentleman to Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Rathbone Brothers Plc is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Gentleman as a non-executive director of the Company and of its main subsidiary, Rathbone Investment Management Limited with effect from 21 January 2015. She has also been appointed as a member of the audit, remuneration, risk and nomination committees.

Sarah started her career at McKinsey and Company and then worked in several roles in the telecoms and digital sectors, latterly as chief financial officer of the LCR Telecom Group.  She spent six years at the internet bank Egg where she was responsible for business development and strategy then moved to Sanford C Bernstein & Co., the institutional research and trading arm of Alliance Bernstein covering the European banking sector.

Sarah graduated from Cambridge with a first class honours degree in Natural Sciences and also has an MBA from INSEAD.
