Rathbone Brothers appoints Colin Clark to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Rathbone Brothers Plc (LON:RAT) today announced that its board has appointed Colin Clark as a non-executive director of the company and of its main subsidiary, Rathbone Investment Management Limited with effect from 24 October 2018, subject to regulatory approval. He has also been appointed as a member of the audit, remuneration, risk and nomination committees.

Rathbone Brothers Chairman, Mark Nicholls commented: “I am delighted that Colin has agreed to join our board. His breadth and depth of experience in our industry will be of great value to Rathbones in the years ahead.”

Colin has spent his entire career in investment management. He was at Mercury Asset Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers for over 20 years and then was appointed a non-executive director at Standard Life Investments in 2004. In 2010, he was appointed an executive director of Standard Life Investments and subsequently appointed to the Standard Life Plc board as an executive director with responsibility for the Global Client Group. He retired from this position in 2017.

Colin is currently also a non-executive director of AXA Investment Managers SA and Chairman of AXA Investment Managers UK board. He was also formerly a non-executive director at Alpha Strategic Plc and Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
