PureCircle appoints John Gibney to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– MALAYSIA, Kuala Lumpur – PureCircle (LSE: PURE), the world’s leading producer and marketer of high purity stevia ingredients, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Gibney as a Non-Executive Director and a member of the Audit Committee of the Company with effect from 11 April 2016.

John Gibney has recently retired as Chief Financial Officer of Britvic plc after a 17 year career. As Chief Financial Officer, he was responsible for a broad portfolio including finance, IT, legal, estates, risk management, procurement and corporate responsibility. Prior to joining Britvic, Mr. Gibney spent 10 years with Bass plc where he held various finance and management roles.

Mr. Gibney, age 55 is a UK qualified Chartered Accountant.
