– UK, London – Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc (LON: PCFT) today announced the appointment of Simon Cordery as an independent, non-executive director, such appointment to become effective on 1 July 2019.

About Simon Cordery
Mr Cordery has almost 40 years’ experience working within financial services of which nearly 30 years have been focused on the wealth management industry. Most recently he was Head of Investor Relations and Sales at BMO Global Asset Management, where he spent almost 25 years in senior roles, and previously he held roles with Invesco Fund Managers, Jefferies & Co, Kleinwort Benson Securities and Rea Bros Merchant Bank. Mr Cordery has considerable and detailed knowledge of the investment trust industry and remains actively involved with the Association of Investment Companies.
