Point B appoints Chris Marsh to its Board of Directors

– USA, WA – Point B Inc., a management consulting and venture investment firm, has appointed Chris Marsh, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pulse Health, LLC, to its Board of Directors. In this role, Marsh will work with the board to influence the firm’s strategic growth and expansion.

Marsh brings an impressive track record of new venture and existing business growth and deep executive leadership to the Point B Board of Directors. He is the former Chief Executive Officer at Unicru, growing the company from 40 to 350 employees during his tenure and leading the company through an eventual four-time revenue multiple sale. Prior to Unicru, Marsh was the Executive Vice President of E*Trade, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Card Capture Services, Chief Executive Officer of Superior Transportation Logistics, and Executive Vice President and Director of Greenbrier Logistic Companies. Marsh holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Oregon State University, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of ARM Insight, Inc., The Institute for Corporate Productivity, and Henningsen Cold Storage.

“Point B has a strong vision for the future, and Chris brings the kind of growth intelligence and market intuition that will be critical for the path forward,” said Point B Chief Executive Officer Mike Pongon. “Consulting is the core of our business and, along with venture investment and property development, we continue to look at market opportunities that enhance value, create new career opportunities for our people, and increase scale as we move into the next 20 years of our existence. The addition of a seasoned board leader like Chris helps us make the most impact with those next steps.”

Point B will drive an aggressive growth strategy that expands the firm’s national footprint by adding offices in the Southeast, Midwest and East Coast. The firm will also continue to explore new business ventures to elevate their key assets: people, expertise, network, and relationships. “We have over 500 people out in the marketplace every day, working with business leaders to seize opportunity and tackle strategic problems. This network of knowledge offers incredible insight into potential new ventures that will complement our existing businesses,” said Pongon.

“Point B is poised for an outstanding future,” said Chris Marsh. “They’ve become a $140 million dollar organization with a 20-year track record of success, and are a sizeable employer with over 560 employees in eight markets nationwide. This is a rock-solid foundation from which to diversify and grow, and I’m honored to be a part of the firm at such an exciting time.”
