– UK – Phoenix IT Group plc (“Phoenix”) today announces the appointment of Robin Taylor as a non-executive Director. He will join the Board with effect from 1 November 2013 and will chair the audit committee.
Robin has wide ranging non-executive director experience. He is currently the senior independent director and chair of the audit committee at EMIS Group Plc and chair of the remuneration committee at Fusionex International Plc. During his executive career, he was Chief Financial Officer of both Intec Telecom Systems Plc and ITNET Plc. Robin is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has a BA in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot Watt University.
Phoenix also announces that it has commenced a search for a new Group Chief Executive Officer. The search is being conducted by an independent search firm who will be assessing both external and internal candidates. Following the appointment of a new Group Chief Executive Officer, Peter Bertram will revert solely to the role of Chairman.
