OptiMobile AB announces Lars Rutegård as upcoming CEO

– SWEDEN, Stockholm – Lars Rutegård has been appointed new CEO of OptiMobile AB as of October 1, 2015.

Lars Rutegård has held a number of management positions in both Swedish and internationally based companies, primarily in the industrial and information technology sector. Lars joins OptiMobile from International Fibres Group AB, a leading global manufacturer of staple fibres and filament yarn, where he was CEO. Lars Rutegård is 37 years old and has an academic background from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm).

Current CEO Lars Edman has accepted the appointment as CEO of Gnothis AB, a globally leading biotechnology company in the field of DNA analysis.

“Lars Edman has been a most valuable driving force for OptiMobile during his nearly 12 years as CEO. We are therefore very pleased that Lars Edman with his deep knowledge of the company has agreed to continue to support OptiMobile as Senior Advisor and that we thus can maintain continuity in OptiMobile.” says Gösta Bergman.
