Opsec Security group names Richard Fuller as the Non-Executive Chairman

– USA, MA / UK – Opsec Security group Plc (“OpSec”), a leading supplier of anti-counterfeiting technologies and services, is pleased to announce that Mr Richard Fuller, Non-Executive Director of the Company, has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Fuller was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company in December 2011. He is currently the UK Member of Parliament for Bedford. Mr Fuller holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Further to the Company’s AGM statement dated 30 July 2014, now that the appointment of a new Chairman has been finalised, Mr David Mahony, has decided to step down from the Board with immediate effect. Mr Mahony has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 1985 and was appointed Chairman in 1990.

Richard S. Cremona, CEO of the Company commented: “Richard has been a key member of our Board, providing advice and counsel on a wide variety of business matters. We look forward to him bringing those skills to bear as Chairman.  We would also like to thank David for his many years of service to OpSec.”
