Old Mutual Wealth appoints Charlie Eppinger as Non-Executive Director

– UK – Old Mutual Wealth Management Limited, the holding company for Skandia and Old Mutual Global Investors, today announces the appointment of a fourth independent non-executive director to its board – Charlie Eppinger.

Charlie founded IFDS (International Financial Data Services) in 1995 and served as chief executive officer there for 13 years until 2007. Old Mutual Wealth recently announced a deal with IFDS to transform the services provided by Skandia to advisers and customers in the UK.

More recently Charlie spent 10 years at Cofunds as chief executive and non-executive chairman. Prior to IFDS he held senior roles at Boston Financial Data Services, Bank of Ireland and American Express.

Charlie’s appointment follows the recent appointments of Ashok Gupta, Jane Hanson and Simon Davies to the Old Mutual Wealth board as independent non-executive directors.

Paul Feeney, chief executive of Old Mutual Wealth, comments: “Charlie’s experience will be invaluable as we implement our outsourcing arrangements and develop further our platform proposition. I am delighted to have Charlie on board to help us as we work toward achieving our vision of becoming the best investment business in the market.”
