Noricum Gold appoints Neil O’Brien and Peter Damouni to its Board as Non-Executive Directors

– UK, London – Noricum Gold Limited (LSE:NMG), the European focused base and precious metals resource development company, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Neil O’Brien and Peter Damouni to its Board of Directors as Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect.

Dr. Neil O’Brien is the Senior Vice President, Exploration & New Business Development of Toronto/Stockholm-listed base metal miner Lundin Mining Corporation and is the longest serving officer of this company. He holds a PhD in Economic Geology from Queen’s University in Canada and has over 30 years of industry experience, including 15 years in technical roles with Teck Cominco and now 11 years as a mining executive with Lundin Mining. Dr. O’Brien also has several years of experience as a director on the board of junior exploration companies and extensive international experience in all stages of mineral exploration and development of base metal projects. He is a Canadian and British citizen, residing in Canada.
Peter Damouni has over 15 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets with expertise in the natural resource sector. Throughout his career, Mr. Damouni has led and worked on equity and debt financings valued over $5 billion and has experience in equity financings, restructurings, corporate valuations and advisory assignments. Mr. Damouni is a Director of Kerr Mines Inc, a TSX listed gold mining company and a Director of Silvergate Capital Partners. Mr. Damouni is a graduate of McGill University, Canada. He is a Canadian and British citizen, residing in the United Kingdom.

In addition, Jeremy Whybrow and Marcus Edwards-Jones have stepped down from the Board today.
