They include Steve Largent, NFL Hall-of-Famer (Seattle Seahawks), past president and CEO of CTIA and former congressman (R-OK), and Brian V. Turner, distinguished financial executive with 20 years of experience at the helm of public corporations including Coinstar, Inc. (now Outerwall; NASDAQ: OUTR) and RealNetworks (NASDAQ: RNWK).
The additions of Largent and Turner to the Nintex board of directors follow the recent appointment of Mark Woodward, president and CEO of E2open (NASDAQ: EOPN). Largent, Turner and Woodward broaden the Nintex board of directors with extensive financial expertise, business acumen, constituent advocacy experience and C-level leadership at public companies.

Largent, of NFL fame, brings to Nintex a storied career in business, public service and professional football. As president and CEO of CTIA, an international nonprofit organization that represents the wireless communications industry, Largent led the industry’s lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill. During his decade-long tenure, he advocated for a reasoned regulatory and legislative environment which played a key role in the U.S. wireless industry’s explosive growth. Prior to CTIA, Largent served more than seven years as a Member of the United States Congress, representing Oklahoma’s First Congressional District. He was the vice-chairman of the Energy and Air Quality Subcommittee as well as served on the Telecommunications Subcommittee, the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee and the Environment and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee. A member of the NFL Hall of Fame since 1995, Largent rose to prominence early on as a wide receiver for the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks from 1976–1989.

Turner is the former CFO of four public companies, including two which he led through successful IPOs (BSQUARE and Radisys Corporation).Throughout his career, he has overseen all aspects of finance, acquisitions, investor relations, human resources and treasury, among other operations, for multi-national corporations. Turner helped implement Coinstar’s product and channel diversification strategy, which led to revenue growth from $120 million in 2003 to $1.3 billion in 2009. EBITDA also grew from $30 million in 2003 to $200 million in 2009. In addition to the Nintex board of directors, Turner currently serves on the boards of McKinstry Essention and McKinstry Inc., Microvision Inc., InfoArmor Corporation and Symetra Mutual Fund.
