– USA, CA – Netronome, the leading provider of data plane processing solutions for Software-Defined Networks (SDN), today announced the appointment of Sean Maloney to the company’s board of directors. Mr. Maloney held a variety of executive roles during a 30-year career at Intel, most recently serving as chairman of Intel China.

During his tenure at Intel that spanned from 1982 to January 2013, Mr. Maloney’s roles ranged from chief sales and marketing officer to general manager of the Intel Architecture Group. Mr. Maloney worked directly for former CEO Andrew Grove as a technical assistant. He was most recently one of four executive vice presidents that reported to CEO Paul Otellini as the chairman of Intel China where he held the responsibilities for developing the corporate strategy for the world’s largest processor market opportunity. Mr. Maloney was instrumental in driving Intel’s WiFi participation and investment and helped drive their push to support mobile computing.
