NB Distressed Debt Investment Fund appointed Stephen Vakil to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Director

– GUERNSEY, St. Peter Port – NB Distressed Debt Investment Fund Limited (LSE:NBDD) today announces the resignation of Talmai Morgan as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board, effective 8 February 2016.

The Company also announces that Stephen Vakil has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board, effective 5 February 2016. Mr Vakil will replace Mr Morgan on the Company’s Audit Committee.

Stephen Vakil has over thirty years’ investment experience, most recently working at private client investment manager Quilter Cheviot (and its predecessor companies) from 1989 to 2013. He held the position of Managing Director from 2001 with responsibility for the London office and research function, as well as playing key roles in a number of corporate transactions. Prior to this, he held positions at L Messel & Co and Chase Manhattan.
