– MONACO – Navios Maritime Partners L.P. (NYSE:NMM), an international owner and operator of container and dry bulk and container vessels, announced today the appointment of Mrs. Orthodoxia Zisimatou to its Board of Directors.
Mrs. Zisimatou, lawyer by training, has been focused on the maritime sectors since she became a member of the Athens Bar since 1988. She is currently Secretary General of the Union of Piraeus Shipping Lawyers. Mrs. Zisimatou is a Member of the Permanent Committee of Maritime Policy, Security and Protection of Environment of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, Member of the Legal Committee of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping and Maritime Arbitrator of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping. Mrs. Zisimatou earned a bachelor’s degree in Law from the faculty of Law of the University of Athens.

Navios Partners has also announced that Dimitris Papastefanou Gkouras, a director of Navios Partners’ since June 2013, has resigned. Ms. Frangou commented, “We thank Mr. Papastefanou Gkouras for his valuable contribution and his good service to the Company. We wish him well in his future ventures.”
