Nationwide Building Society appoints Kevin Parry to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Swindon – Nationwide Building Society (LSE:NBS) announces today that Kevin Parry will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director of the Society and member of the Audit Committee and Board Risk Committee on 23 May 2016. Kevin will become Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nomination and Governance Committee at the conclusion of the AGM on 21 July 2016 on the retirement of Roger Perkin.

Kevin has a long and successful career in the financial sector and professional practice in both Executive and Non-Executive roles. He is a Non-Executive Director of Intermediate Capital Group plc and will become Chairman on 21 July 2016. Kevin is also the Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Standard Life plc and is a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Daily Mail and General Trust plc.
