– UK, Edinburgh – Monks Investment Trust Plc today announced the appointment of Belinda Richards as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 28 September 2016.
“I am delighted that Ms Richards, with her extensive business and finance experience, has agreed to join our Board,” said Board Chairman, James Ferguson.
About Belinda Richards
Ms Richards is a former senior partner at Deloitte LLP with a thirty-year career specialising in business operations and strategy development with a particular focus on the Financial Services and Consumer Products sectors. She is a member of the FRC’s Advisory Group of Audit Committee Chairmen and a member of the Governing Council of the Centre for the Study of Financial Information, a not for profit think tank based in the City of London. In addition, she is a currently the chair of the audit committee of Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC, the senior independent director of Grainger plc and a non-executive director of Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited. She was previously a director of Friends Life Holdings plc and Balfour Beatty plc.
