Monks Investment Trust announces Jeremy Tigue to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London –  The Monks Investment Trust PLC today announced the appointment of Jeremy Tigue as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 30 September 2014.

Mr Tigue stepped down as the fund manager of Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust PLC earlier this year after seventeen years and is retiring from F&C Management on 30 September 2014 after thirty-three years. He is currently chairman of BACIT Limited (Battle against Cancer Investment Trust) and is a director of Graphite Enterprise Trust PLC and The Mercantile Investment Trust plc. He was a director of the Association of Investment Companies from 2003 to 2013.

The Chairman of Monks, James Ferguson said: “I am delighted that Mr Tigue has agreed to join our Board.   He has extensive experience of the management of investment trusts.”
