Mincon Group appoints Jussi Rautiainen to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– IRELAND, Shannon – Mincon Group Plc (ESM:MIO / AIM:MCON), the Irish engineering group specialising in the design, manufacture, sale and servicing of rock drilling tools and associated products, announces the appointment of Jussi Rautiainen as a non-executive director of the company with immediate effect.

Jussi joined Mincon in January 2017 from Robit Rocktools Ltd., where he had served as chief executive officer from 2005 until 2016. Mr Rautiainen served as SVP for Business Development with Mincon and was instrumental in the establishment of our Mincon Nordic subsidiary and its subsequent expansion through the recent acquisitions of PPV, Viqing and Driconeq. Following this build-out of the Mincon Nordic platform, Jussi will step down from his business development position on the senior management team and has been invited to join the board of the Company as a non-executive director.

Prior to his career at Robit, Jussi held international management positions at Huhtamäki Oyj and UPM Kymmene Corporation. Mr. Rautiainen holds a bachelor of Economics degree and has also an Executive Master of Business Administration degree.
