Mercia Technologies appoints Caroline Plumb to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Henley-in-Arden – Mercia Technologies PLC (AIM:MERC), the national investment group focused on the creation, identification, funding and scaling of innovative technology businesses with high growth potential from the UK regions, today announced that Caroline Plumb OBE has been appointed as a Non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

Caroline is a serial entrepreneur. Having graduated with a first-class honours MEng degree from the University of Oxford in 2000 Caroline co-founded FreshMinds, an award-winning recruitment and innovation consultancy specialising in consumer insight, market research and product development. She remains involved with FreshMinds as non-executive chair and is also CEO of Fluidly, a fintech SaaS business that helps SMEs plan and manage their cash flow, which she co-founded in 2016 and has successfully raised investment capital from both UK and US investors.

Caroline was awarded an OBE in the 2016 Birthday Honours’ list for services to Business and Charity and currently serves as one of the UK government’s c50 Business Ambassadors, representing the UK’s Professional and Business Services sectors.
