– UK, London – M&C SAATCHI plc (AIM:SAA), announces its intention to appoint Sir Michael Charles Gerrard Peat, 66, as a non-executive Director following the AGM on 8th June 2016. On appointment, Michael will chair M&C Saatchi’s Audit committee.
Michael Peat was a partner at KPMG from 1985 to 1993 before joining the Royal Household. Positions held in the Household included Director of Finance and Property Services, Keeper of the Privy Purse and Treasurer to The Queen, Receiver General of The Duchy of Lancaster, Principal Private Secretary to The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall and chairman of The Prince’s Charities Foundation. He retired from the Royal Household in 2011.
Adrian Martin, a Non-Executive Director, has informed the Board of his intention not to stand for re-election at the next AGM. Adrian has been a member of the Board since the company floated on 7 July 2004.
