– UK, London – Maven Income and Growth VCT 6 PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gregor Logan as a Non-executive Director with effect from 10 February 2015. Mr Logan will also serve on the Company’s Audit, Management Engagement, Nomination, Remuneration and Risk Committees.
Mr Logan is an external member of the investment committee of Family Investments Friendly Society; a member of the investment advisory group to Nutmeg, an award winning on-line discretionary investment manager; honorary investment adviser to the Incorporated Society of Musicians and a trustee of the Fenton Arts Trust. He is a non-executive director of Skiplex Ltd and a former non-executive director of Sidonis Limited. In his early career, Gregor trained with W&J Burness Solicitors before joining Fidelity Investments as a portfolio manager. He then joined the board of MGM Assurance as Investment Director, moving on to be chief investment officer at Pavilion Asset Management and then New Star Asset Management.
This appointment is the first part of a succession plan, announced on 18 July 2014, through which it is intended that Stephen Barclay and Jonathan Carr will stand down respectively at the Annual General Meetings to be held 2015 and 2016 in order to allow new Board members to be appointed.
Mr Logan will be subject to re-election by Shareholders at the first Annual General Meeting following his appointment and confirmation of any further changes to the constitution of the Board will be communicated fully to Shareholders in due course.
