Market Tech appoints Maureen Harris to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– GUERNSEY, St. Peter Port – Market Tech (LSE: MKT), which owns, manages and is developing a unique 16 acre estate of office, retail, leisure and living spaces in London, including the iconic Camden Markets, announces the appointment of Maureen Harris as a non-executive director. Maureen has been nominated by and will act as the board representative of the Company’s majority shareholder, Citwax Investments Limited, under its relationship agreement with the Company.

Maureen brings 30 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, and real estate markets, both in equity as well as debt positions. This includes 15 years with NatWest Markets, including the capital markets division and restructuring of the County NatWest Property Book, as well as 11 years at IBRC, including as UK Head of Asset Recovery. More recently she has acted as an advisor and asset manager to a Lone Star Real Estate Fund. Since 2015 Maureen has advised a number of companies owned and/or controlled by trusts connected with the Company’s majority shareholder.

Commenting on the appointment, Neil Sachdev, Chairman of Market Tech, said: “We welcome Maureen to the Company, representing our majority shareholder, and we look forward to benefiting from her experience across the banking and real estate sectors.”

Following Maureen’s appointment, Market Tech proposes to rebalance the board of the Company in order to comply with the UK Corporate Governance Code.
