Management Resource Solutions nominates Robert Hackett and Peter Dighton for election to its Board as Independent Directors

– UK, Esher –  Management Resource Solutions Plc (LON: MRS), a leading Maintenance, Fabrication, Civil and Earthworks company, today announces that John Zorbas, Non-Executive Chairman, has informed the board of his intention to step down from the board on 31 August 2019, having led the Company during its period of recovery and return to profitability.

The board would like to take this opportunity to thank John for all of his hard work in the business and wishes him all the best for the future.

Further to the Company’s announcement on 15 April 2019, the board announced that it intends to appoint Robert Hackett and Peter Dighton as independent non-executive directors. They will be appointed to the board subject to the customary process of due diligence and subject to the outcome of the general meeting that is expected to take place on 22 May 2019.

In addition, the Board intends to appoint a UK-based independent Non-Executive Director with experience of equity capital markets and as a public company director, specifically on AIM.

About Robert Hackett

Mr. Hackett is an experienced executive in the Australian oil and gas and construction industries, having previously been CEO of Century Drilling Limited and MB Petroleum Services. He is currently chairman of Strathlyn Investments Pty Ltd, a private investment and trustee company.

About Peter Dighton

Mr. Dighton is a qualified solicitor based near Brisbane and is currently principal of Law Strategies Pty Ltd, a consultancy that specialises in the legal aspects of large projects and transactions. Mr. Dighton is an experienced listed company director in Australia and the UK, where his prior appointments included board positions with two AIM-listed companies.
