– UK, London – Lowland Investment Company Plc (LON: LWI) today announced that Tom Walker will be appointed as a non-executive director to the Board with effect from 1 July 2019. He will also serve as a member of the Company’s Audit, Nomination and Management Engagement Committees.

About Tom Walker
He was formerly a Fund Manager with Martin Currie Investment Management, where latterly he headed up the global long-term unconstrained team and managed the Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, a global investment trust with assets of £220 million.
Mr Walker is currently a non-executive director of EP Global Opportunities Trust plc and will be appointed as a non-executive director of JPMorgan Japan Smaller Companies Trust plc with effect from 29 July 2019. He also has longstanding trustee experience with the Church of Scotland.
