London Capital Group appoints Nicholas Lee and Rebecca Fuller to its Board as Non-Executive Directors

– UK, London – London Capital Group Plc today announces that Nicholas Lee and Rebecca Fuller have been appointed as non-executive directors of the Company with immediate effect.  Rebecca Fuller becomes the Company’s senior independent non-executive director.

Nicholas Lee has more than 25 years of experience in international investment banking and working as a company director. Nicholas was with Dresdner Kleinwort and its antecedent firms from 1988 to 2009, starting at Kleinwort Benson Group plc and rising to managing director, head of banking, hedge fund solutions. Previously as a managing director in mergers and acquisitions at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Nicholas’ clients included leading European financial services firms and large industrial, consumer leisure and technology companies. Nicholas is currently executive chairman of AIM-listed Paternoster Resources plc and non-executive director of AIM-listed MX Oil plc. Nicholas was previously a director and head of corporate finance at Novus Capital Markets Limited and a director of AIM-listed Metal Tiger plc and Plutus Powergen plc.  Nicholas qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and has an MA in engineering from St John’s College, Cambridge.

Nicholas will bring to the board valuable investment banking advisory experience and cross-sector corporate strategy expertise to the board.

Rebecca Fuller has 20 years of experience as a practising lawyer in governance, regulation and risk management within leading international financial institutions and at some of the world’s largest law firms. Rebecca has been since May 2013 an independent non-executive director at BATS Trading Limited, the largest pan-European equities regulated investment exchange, and is a director of Anico Financial Services Limited which she co-founded. From 2004 to 2012 Rebecca was general counsel and head of compliance at Citadel Investment Group in Europe and from 2010 to 2012, a director of Citadel Securities (Europe) Limited. From 2000 to 2003 Rebecca was legal counsel for the Lehman Brothers’ equities division in Europe. She previously practised as a finance lawyer with Clifford Chance after serving as associate to the Honourable MEJ Black, Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Australia, and completing her training with Freehills. Rebecca is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia, and a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Rebecca has an M Juris in European and Comparative law from Balliol College, Oxford and an LLB and BA in French and Economics from the University of Queensland.

Rebecca will bring to the board valuable experience in international governance and risk management across the financial services industry.
