Liontrust Asset Management announces George Yeandle to the Board as upcoming Independent Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Liontrust Asset Management Plc, the specialist independent fund management group, confirms the following directorate changes:

George Yeandle will join the Board on 2 January 2015 as an Independent Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. 

George is a chartered accountant with over 30 years’ experience having specialised throughout most of his career in advising clients on executive pay and remuneration issues. He has also held a number of internal leadership roles. He trained with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) before being admitted as a partner in 1989. 

More recently, George was Operational Leader of the London Region Human Resource Services Business and a Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, retiring in December 2013. 

Jonathan Hughes-Morgan has notified the Board of his intention to resign as Director of the Company, with immediate effect, to concentrate on building Liontrust’s international distribution as Co-Head of International Sales with James Beddall, who joined the Company in September 2014. Jonathan remains with the Company as a member of Liontrust Fund Partners LLP.
