Lindsell Train Investment Trust appoints Julian Cazalet and Vivien Gould to the Board as Non-Executive Directors

– UK, London – The Lindsell Train Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Julian Cazalet and Vivien Gould as non-executive directors of the Company with effect from today.

Mr Cazalet was Managing Director – Corporate Finance at JPMorgan Cazenove until his retirement in December 2007.  From 1989 he worked in corporate finance and advised investment trusts in addition to his work with industrial and commercial companies. He is currently Chairman of Herald Investment Trust plc, director of Deltex Medical Group plc, Private Equity Investor plc and a number of charitable trusts.

Ms Gould has worked in the financial services sector since 1981.  She was a founder director of River & Mercantile Investment Management Limited (1985) and served as a senior executive and Deputy Managing Director with the Group until 1994.  She then worked as an independent consultant and served on the boards of a number of investment management companies, listed investment trusts, other financial companies and charitable trusts including the Stroke Association.  Her current positions include being a non-executive director of Waverton Investment Management Limited, director and trustee of the John Ellerman Foundation and of Cobalt Health.

The Chairman, Donald Adamson, said he was delighted that Mr Cazalet and Ms Gould had agreed to join the Board and was very much looking forward to working with them both.
