Kore Potash appoints Jose Merino to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Kore Potash plc (AIM, JSE, ASX:KP2), the potash development company whose flagship asset is the 97%-owned Sintoukola Potash Project, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr José Antonio Merino as a Non-Executive Director of the Board nominated by Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. with immediate effect. José Antonio replaces Pablo Altimiras, whose resignation was announced on 26 April 2018. Further to that announcement, Pablo’s resignation from the Board will be effective immediately.

José Antonio, aged 36, joined SQM in 2016 and is currently M&A Director, prior to which he worked at EPG Partners as head of a mining private equity fund, at Asset Chile, a Chilean boutique investment bank, and at Santander Investment. He is a qualified Civil Engineer having graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
