JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust announces Victoria Stewart and Nick Melhuish to its Board as Non-Executive Directors

– UK, London –  JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust Plc (LON: JCH) today announced the appointments of Victoria Stewart and Nicholas Melhuish as Non-Executive Directors of the Company with effect from 1st February 2020. It has previously been announced that Humphrey van der Klugt and Jane Tufnell intend to retire as Directors following the Company’s Annual General Meeting in 2020.

About Victoria Stewart

Victoria has spent twenty-two years as a fund manager, joining Chiswell Investment Management in 1994 before moving to Royal London Asset Management in 1998. She was the sole manager of the Royal London UK Smaller Companies Fund from its inception in 2007, leaving in 2016 and taking up a non-executive director role with Secure Trust Bank PLC where she is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. Victoria is also a non-executive director of the Artemis Alpha Fund plc.

About Nick Melhuish

Nick joined Corpus Christi College, Oxford, as Fellow & Bursar in September 2018 after spending 27 years as a portfolio manager, most recently as Head of Global Equities at the European asset manager Amundi SA. He is a Trustee of the Trusthouse Charitable Foundation, a grant giving charity which helps support non-profit activities in areas of urban and rural deprivation. He also serves as a director and Trustee of The London Clinic, a medical charity and hospital, and lectures at the Said Business School on asset management.
