JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust announces David Graham to its Board as Independent Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – JPMorgan Chinese Trust plc (LSE:JMC), as part of its succession planning, announces the appointment of Mr David Graham as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st May 2017.

Mr Graham is a Chartered Accountant by training whose career has been in investment management, firstly as an Asian fund manager with Lazards and then building businesses, establishing offices and managing client relationships across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa for BlackRock and predecessor firms.

Born in Japan and brought up in Hong Kong, Australia and Thailand, David has worked in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney and has been a Representative Director on domestic, joint venture, fund management companies in China, India, Thailand and Taiwan. Before his retirement in March 2016, Mr Graham was leading the Family Offices, Charities & Endowments business of BlackRock covering clients across EMEA.

Mr Graham is an advisor to BlackRock in Asia Pacific and is one of BlackRock’s nominated Directors on the Board of DSP BlackRock, a fund management joint venture in India. He is also a Director of the Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust.
