Jiasen International appoints to its Board of Directors: Gareth Wong as Finance Director / Curtis Riley as Non-Executive Director

– CHINA, Nan’an – Jiasen International Holdings Limited together with its subsidiaries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Yip Ming (“Gareth”) Wong and Curtis Dennis Riley to the Board as Finance Director and Non-executive Director respectively. Jiasen is an international property fit-out business specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of multiple wooden products for residential properties.

Yip Ming (“Gareth”) Wong, aged 36, has more than 10 years of experience in the field of accountancy and auditing. Mr Wong was formerly an Audit Manager at Crowe Horwath (HK) CPA Limited in Hong Kong where he was responsible for auditing publicly quoted companies listed in Hong Kong and the US. His clients included companies involved in manufacturing, import and export, retail and property development. Prior to joining Crowe Howarth in 2010, Mr Wong worked at BDO Limited in Hong Kong. Mr Wong is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Public Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lingnan University. Mr Wong is bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Curtis Dennis Riley, aged 54, has more than 25 years of international business development experience with a strong track record of evaluating and executing strategic transactions including M&A. Mr Riley has also successfully structured large scale outsourcing arrangements between Fortune 500 companies and service providers in India, China, South America, and Europe. His extensive experience includes advising manufacturing companies on improving performance by implementing innovative technologies and supply chain optimisation for clients such as Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopter, Dell Computer, and General Motors. He has held leadership positions with global technology companies including IBM, EDS, CSC, and NEC. Mr. Riley has a BSEE from the University of Texas in Austin.

The next 18 months are critical for our development when we will see the construction of the new manufacturing facility and when we expect to build on our presence in the market place.

As we seek to accelerate the growth of our business, we are considering the appointing a further non-Executive Director to enhance the profile of the Company and to demonstrate the Company’s commitment to corporate governance and transparency. A further announcement on this will be made in due course.”

The Company was established in 2001 and is based in Quanzhou City, Fujian province, located in south-eastern China. Its products are sold and marketed under the ‘Fuyou’ brand and produced in its 83,000 sqm factory in Nan’an City, Fujian province by its workforce of more than 1,500 employees.

Jiasen’s main products include doors, wall panels and assorted fixtures, such as fitted wardrobes, cupboards and skirting boards, and furniture which are sold principally to property development projects, through branded ‘Fuyou’ retail stores and to export markets. The Company’s products are sold in three main segments: residential and property development projects, wholesale distribution and export.
