International Personal Finance appoints Cathryn Riley to Board as Independent Director

– UK, Leeds – International Personal Finance plc (“IPF”) has appointed Cathryn Riley to its board as an independent non-executive director with effect from 12 February 2014.

Cathryn has over 20 years’ experience in insurance and financial services.  She spent 17 years at Aviva, where she was Group COO until October last year.  Prior to her appointment as COO, she held a number of very senior positions within Aviva, including a year as Group CIO and a year as UK Commercial Director.  Between 2005 and 2010, Cathryn was COO and Customer Experience Director of UK Life.  Prior to that, she held various roles in Aviva’s UK General Insurance Business, preceded by three years at BUPA.

Cathryn is an experienced non-executive director, having sat on the board of Equitable Life since 2009 and also chairing its Remuneration Committee.
