Intermediate Capital Group appoints Virginia Holmes to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Intermediate Capital Group PLC (AIM:ICP), is pleased to announce the appointment of Virginia Holmes as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 31 March 2017. From that date, she will also join the Company’s Remuneration Committee.

Kevin Parry, Chairman of the Company, said: “I am delighted that Virginia Holmes will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director. Virginia has an extensive background in investing in global markets, including through her executive experience with AXA Investment Managers and Barclays Bank; she is also an experienced main Board director of significant businesses and her appointment will broaden the knowledge and diversity of our Board.”

Virginia Holmes brings to the Board extensive knowledge of the financial services industry, including both investment management and banking. Her executive experience includes serving as Chief Executive of AXA Investment Managers in the UK and more than a decade with the Barclays Bank Group. Virginia currently serves on the investment committee of the UK Universities Superannuation Scheme and chairs its investment management subsidiary, is chair of British Airways Pension Trustees Ltd.and also is a Non Executive Director of Post Office Limited and Investor Forum CIC. She is a former Non Executive Director of Standard Life Investment Holdings Limited, JPMorgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc and the Alberta Investment Management Corporation.
