– Australia, Melbourne – InnovaDerma (LSE: IDP), a UK developer of ‘at-home’ and clinically proven treatments for hair loss, hair care, self-tanning and skin rejuvenation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kieran Callan as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect, succeeding Garry Lemair who stepped down from the Board on 10 January 2017.
Mr. Callan has more than 30 years of experience in the FMCG and retail sector with a strong track record of devising and implementing strategies for growth companies. He also brings with him extensive experience in M&A including deal execution and integration of acquired businesses. He holds a BA (Hons) Law, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Since 2012, Mr. Callan has been the Chief Executive Officer of Joval Group Pty Ltd, a company engaged in the production, distribution, warehousing and logistics of fine wine and food to both the Australian domestic and international markets. In 2008, he became the founding Melbourne Director of the National Australia Bank private equity business aimed at small and medium enterprises for the provision of capital to facilitate growth. Mr.Callan spent six years at PZ Cussons Plc from 1994 to 2000 where he held various senior management roles including Managing Director of Cussons (UK) Ltd and Managing Director of Cussons Pty Ltd where he was responsible for revitalising its operations and delivering revenue and profit growth across its core UK, Australian and Indonesian businesses.
As previously announced on 10 January 2017, Mr. Callan will replace Clifford Giles on the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee. Clifford Giles will continue to serve as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
