Inland Homes appoints Laure Duhot and Brian Johnson to its Board as Non-Executive Directors

– UK, Amersham – Inland Homes plc (AIM:INL), the specialist brownfield land developer and housebuilder with a focus on the South and South East of England, today announced the appointment of two Non-Executive Directors, Laure Duhot and Brian Johnson, to the Board of Directors, with immediate effect.

Laure Duhot, aged 56, brings over 30 years of senior executive level experience in the investment banking and property sectors, specialising in alternative real estate assets, including investing in and the development of healthcare properties, PRS, affordable housing and student and senior living, across the UK.

Having held senior roles at the European Investment Bank, Lehman Brothers, Macquarie Capital Partners and Grainger plc., Laure has a proven track record in fund management, corporate finance, private equity and capital markets. At Grainger she was a Managing Director responsible for several funds operating across the UK and Germany, including the PRS focused GRIP REIT, which she set up. In addition, she has significant Non-Executive experience having held board positions at a number of funds and property companies over the past 15 years, including First Property Asset Management Ltd, Thames Valley Housing Association, the Guinness Partnership and MedicX Fund.

Brian Johnson, aged 57, brings a wealth of sector expertise having held senior management and Non-Executive positions within the housing, social care and commercial sectors, specialising in the transformation of organisations to deliver significant value, through the implementation of new approaches to housing, regeneration, personal care and support and employment delivery.

An engineer by background, Brian has previously held the position of Chief Executive at CityWest Homes, Moat Homes Limited and at Metropolitan Housing Trust, a top ten UK provider of affordable housing. At Metropolitan Housing he devised and led a rapid turnaround of the organisation, kick starting one of the UK’s largest regeneration schemes at Clapham Park and creating a development pipeline able to deliver 1,000 new homes per annum. He also led the turnaround of the loss-making Personal Care and Support Business. In addition, Brian was previously a Non-Executive Director at North Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and is currently interim Chief Operating Officer at Abzena.

Stephen Wicks, CEO at Inland Homes, commented: “We are pleased to welcome both Laure and Brian, who bring with them a wealth of operational and financial experience spanning the whole UK residential sector, and having them join the Board is a strong endorsement of the direction that we are taking the business. Following on from the landmark sale and development contract agreed with A2 Dominion earlier this month and our stated ambition to be a 1,000 home per year housebuilder, we now have a Board of Directors in place, with a diverse range of industry backgrounds, who we believe can add real value to the Company moving forward.”
