iEnergizer appoints Marc Vassanelli as Non-Executive Director, and announces Neil Campling to Board as Finance Director

– UK – iEnergizer, a high growth digital age publishing and technology leader, today announces significant restructuring to the management team and board membership.  Neil Campling has been appointed as the new Finance Director and will join the Board from the beginning of the next financial year (April 1, 2014). Marc Vassanelli joins the Board as a Non-executive Director with immediate effect.  John Behar, an existing Non-executive Director is stepping down from the Board with effect from 30th April 2014. 

Mr Campling is UK based and will join the Company from Aviate Global LLP, a boutique, thematic global equity financial services firm where he served as a partner and head of Global TMT Research for five years. He previously held senior Portfolio Manager Positions at leading investment firms dating back to 1994. Mr Campling has been a TMT fund manager at New Star Asset Mgmt, Aberdeen Asset Mgmt and Prolific Asset Mgmt in Europe and the US.  iEnergizer believe his 20 year experience of the investment community and knowledge of the dynamic changes in the technology and media industries will help position iEnergizer as a leader in the new digital age.  Mr Campling will be focused on continuing the strong EBITDA growth of the Company, increasing investor relations and stakeholder communication, while working alongside the Chairman to focus on expanding corporate strategy.

Mr Vassanelli brings to the Board, as a new Non-executive Director, extensive industry knowledge and success in growing businesses across the spectrum from established business services, while CFO of ConvergeOne, to media start up, through his time as CEO and President of MV3 Ltd.  He also brings comprehensive experience in change management, having successfully managed the integration of Equiniti and Xafinity to form Equiniti Group (a $510m+ revenue UK BPO firm), and in special situations, having led the turnaround of the $1.5bn EMEA region of Marsh (a portfolio company of Marsh & McLennan) ahead of becoming the Marsh EMEA CFO.  Mr Vassanelli’s previous strategic, operational and financial roles spanning private equity, consulting and banking across multiple industries, will bring invaluable insight and knowledge to the iEnergizer Board.  Mr Vassanelli will join the audit, remuneration and nomination committees of the Company.

Mr. John Behar is stepping down from his existing position as Non-Executive Director to concentrate on his other business interests.
