The House of Britannia appoints Andrew Lawson to the Board of Directors

– UK, London – The House of Britannia Plc, the British Luxury investment Group, announces the appointment of Mr Andrew Lawson to the Board of the Company.

Andrew Lawson read History and Economics at Selwyn College, Cambridge. He cut his financial teeth in the City at Schroders and then went on to develop interests in tourism and property.

For the last decade he has been managing director at Cornelia James Limited, glovemaker to Her Majesty The Queen, now majority owned by the Company.

He says: “In as much as there is a coalface in the fashion industry I have been at it and it’s been an immensely rewarding experience.”

Chairman of The House of Britannia Plc, Lady Rona Delves Broughton, said: “Andrew brings the experience derived from operating a luxury brand at the sharp end and a clear understanding of the strategic imperatives involved in taking a luxury fashion brand to global prominence.”
