Hostelworld Group appoints Evan Cohen to its Board as Independent Director

– IRELAND, Dublin –  Hostelworld Group PLC (LON: HSW), the global hostel-focussed online booking platform, today announced the appointment of Evan Cohen as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company effective from 14 August 2019. Evan will also join the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination committees.

About Evan Cohen

Evan is a management and strategy consultant with over 20 years’ experience in the technology sector. Most recently, he had operational responsibility for ride-hailing company Lyft’s entire US East Coast business. He was the sixth ever full-time employee at the location-based mobile service provider, Foursquare, from 2010-2014, holding the role of Chief Operating Officer most recently and has held senior strategic consulting and operational roles at Bebo, Jupiter and MTM. Evan also advises start-ups through his own strategic consulting business, EVCO Advisory Services.
