Homeserve announces Ron McMillan to its Board as Non-Executive Director and upcoming Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee

– UK, Walsall – HomeServe plc (LSE:HSV) announced today that Mark Morris is to retire as a Non-Executive Director of with effect from 27 February 2018, after nine years on the Board. Mark has served as Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee since his appointment in February 2009 and was appointed as Senior Independent Director in April 2015.

The Company is pleased to announce that Ron McMillan has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director and will succeed Mark as Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee. He joins the Board with immediate effect and will take on the Chairmanship of the Audit & Risk Committee on 28 February 2018.

Ron worked in PwC’s assurance business for 38 years and has extensive knowledge and experience in auditing, financial reporting and governance. During his time at PwC, his roles included Global Finance Partner, Chairman of the North of England and Deputy Chairman and Head of Assurance for the Middle East.

Ron is currently Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of N Brown Group Plc, SCS Plc and 888 Holdings plc. He is also Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of B&M European Value Retail SA and Chairman of Welcome to Yorkshire.
