Highbridge Multi-Strategy Fund appoints Vic Holmes to its Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, London – Highbridge Multi-Strategy Fund limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Vic Holmes as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 3 June 2016.  It is anticipated that Mr Holmes will become Chairman of the Company following the retirement of Mr Richard Crowder at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company. 

Mr Holmes has over 30 years of financial services experience, including extensive experience as a non-executive director and chairman of a variety of funds including Picton Property Income Limited and Next Energy Solar Fund Limited both of which are London listed.  He holds the FCCA status and is the former chairman of the Guernsey Investment Funds Association, former head of Northern Trust (Ireland) and Northern Trust (Channel Islands), and the former head of fund administration services for the Baring Asset Management group of companies providing services out of London, Dublin, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Jersey.   Mr Holmes holds a range of current directorships and chairmanships including non-executive directorships of two companies listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.

The Nominations Committee and Board followed a rigorous and structured selection process based on a series of objective criteria, with the support of an external consultant, cognisant of the requirements for suitable skills, experience and diversity.

The Board is delighted to have identified an individual with the extensive skills and experience of Vic and looks forward to his contribution to the Company in the coming years.
