Hardide appoints Jan Ward to the Board as Non-Executive Director

– UK, Bicester – Hardide (AIM: HDD), the provider of advanced surface coating technology, announces that William Zakroff has resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective as of 2 March 2015.  Also effective as of 2 March 2015, Jan Ward has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.

Ms. Ward is the CEO and founder of Corrotherm International, a supplier of specialist metals for critical applications in the energy and aerospace sectors.   She co-founded the company in 1992 and it currently supplies high performance alloys for the fabrication of oil, gas and power generation equipment from ten locations globally.  

Ms. Ward has over 30 years’ experience in industry and over 25 years at Board level.  She holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and of the Royal Society for Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.  

Most recently, Ms. Ward was named a CBE in the 2015 New Year’s Honours list for services to business.
