– UK, Redditch – Halfords Group plc (LON:HFD) announces the appointment of Jill Caseberry as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 March 2019.
Claudia Arney will step down from the Board with effect from 1 March 2019. Claudia has been a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees since joining the Board on 25 January 2011.
Keith Williams, Halfords Chairman, commented: “Claudia is a highly regarded non-executive director and we have benefited greatly from her considerable efforts since she joined the board in 2011 initially as a director and more recently in her additional role as Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Jill Caseberry brings extensive leadership experience from senior sales and marketing roles in consumer goods businesses including Premier Foods and Pepsico. Jill co-founded a sales and marketing consultancy firm in 2011, advising blue chip companies on their strategic positioning, brand development and category management. Jill is currently a Non-Executive Director of Northgate plc, C&C plc, Bellway plc and St Austell Brewery Company Limited.
Jill Caseberry will succeed Claudia as Chair of the Remuneration Committee and will become a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees upon joining the Board.
